Long
Term Acute Care Hospitals (LTACH) |
|
| |
Our
Long Term Acute Care Hospitals (LTACHs) provide specialized medical,
nursing and rehabilitation services for patients who need more
acute medical care for their recovery process but no longer require
services in a traditional acute care hospital. Patients typically
have a chronic or medically complex medical condition that requires
more intensive services found in other post-acute settings such
as a skilled nursing facility. Physicians typically on staff
at our hospitals are common to the traditional acute hospital;
pulmonologist, cardiologist, internist, physiatrist, gerontologist,
etc.
We promote a healing and nurturing environment at each of our
facilities, responding to the medical, physical, psychological
and social needs
of our patients. Treatment is tailored based upon each patient’s
medical condition and needs.
