The goal of inpatient rehabilitation is to gain independent function, promote safe home living, improve quality of life and establish community reintegration. In simple terms, acute rehabilitation programs are designed to help you return home at your highest level of independence.

The rehabilitation process is different for everyone. Each patient has his/her own unique needs and goals for recovery. As such, an individualized plan of care is developed jointly by the patient, his/her family and potential care givers, and an interdisciplinary team of rehabilitation professionals.
