At Ernest Health, we are committed to being good neighbors and responsible corporate citizens in each of the communities we serve. We do this through not only the healthcare services we provide, but through philanthropic efforts.
While most of our charitable support is determined individually by each hospital within its own community, we also have dedicated resources from the organization throughout all our hospitals:
Ernest Health is committed to supporting the efforts of the Salvation Army in communities in which we serve. Our employees annually raise funds to support the Salvation Army’s Kidz 2 Kamp program in their respective communities.
The Kids 2 Kamp program allows children from low-income or disadvantaged families the opportunity to attend summer camp. The camp provides a safe place for these children to learn and interact with peers. They develop new skills through programs designed to stimulate their imagination, develop a deeper faith, and improve their self-confidence.
Ernest Health employees raise thousands of dollars every year collectively to help send hundreds of children to camp.
Ernest Health is committed to helping during a natural disaster – treating, rehabilitating and empowering those with disabilities caused by the catastrophic event.
